Unforgettable 3 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes

Your 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes begins with a pickup from your Marrakech hotel at 08:30 AM. Traveling in a modern air-conditioned 4WD or minibus, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, the highest pass in Morocco, and descend into the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

At Ait Ben Haddou, you will feel transported back in time to the days of gladiators, desert nomads, and ancient trading markets. After a sightseeing tour and lunch at the Kasbah, we will continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” This city has been the backdrop for numerous blockbuster movies, including “The Mummy,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” and “Game of Thrones.”

In Ouarzazate, we can stop at a café before heading to the Dades Valley. Here, you can relax and unwind in a private room at a local traditional riad, complete with an en-suite bathroom, and enjoy a Moroccan evening dinner.

After breakfast, we will travel from the Dades Gorges to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll pass through Berber villages and towns such as Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, marking the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.

In Merzouga, your guide and camels will be waiting to take you across the high sand dunes of the Morocco Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset and reach our nomad desert camp in Erg Chebbi. The evening includes dinner and a campfire party with drums, followed by an overnight stay in a nomad tent.

Rise early to witness the spectacular sunrise from the top of the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, we will ride the camels back to our departure point (or opt for a 4WD transfer).

Our journey to Fes continues through the Ziz Valley, Midelt, and Ifrane, known as the “Little Switzerland” of Morocco. We will visit the Middle Atlas cedar forest in Azrou, home to the famous Barbary apes, and take a short walk to capture some memorable photos.

We will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and drop you off at your riad or hotel, concluding our 3-day tour with unforgettable memories.
