Day 1 :

Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert (469 km)

Your 3 days tour from Fes to Merzouga desert begins with a pickup from your hotel or riad in Fes. Drive across the Middle Atlas, passing through Ifrane, a well-known ski resort, and Midelt, famous for its minerals and apples. Continue through the scenic Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud, known for its fossil products, and then on to Rissani.

Upon arrival in the Erg Chebbi desert, meet your desert guide and prepare for a camel ride across the Merzouga sand dunes. Spend the night at a Sahara desert camp, ending the first day of your adventure under the stars.

Day 2 :

Explore Merzouga Desert (80 km)

Rise early to witness the breathtaking desert sunrise and the serene silence of the Sahara. After soaking in this magical moment, return to the camp for breakfast and a hot shower. Then, ride your camel back to the departure point.

Your exploration of the Merzouga desert begins with visits to fascinating sites around the Erg Chebbi dunes, including the seasonal Lake Sirji, the village of Khamlia for GNAWA music, and the Mefes mines. End the day with a visit to nomad families. Spend the night at a local hotel or riad in the Merzouga desert.

Day 3 :

Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes (467 km)

Bid farewell to the Merzouga desert and enjoy on your trip back to Fes. Visit the Rissani market, the largest souk in the area, and Erfoud, renowned for its marble stones and fossils. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ziz Valley and palm groves up to Midelt, known for its apple production.
