Itinerary

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, meet your private English-speaking driver for a brief overview of your 10 days tour from Casablanca, Morocco commercial capital, and largest city, where you’ll marvel at the majestic Hassan II Mosque and enjoy the picturesque gardens and terrace cafes overlooking the Atlantic Coast. Then, travel to Rabat, Morocco capital, for an overnight stay with dinner at a local hotel or riad.

Today, journey to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city. Along the way, we’ll make short stops to admire the scenery. Arrive in Chefchaouen and settle into an authentic riad in the Medina for an overnight stay.

Drive from Chefchaouen to Meknes for a guided tour of this historic city. Visit the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in Northern Africa. Explore ancient bathhouses, mosaic floors, and marble pillars with a certified local guide. Continue to Meknes, where you’ll visit the 18th-century Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the massive Heri Es Souani, the former stable and granary for 12,000 horses. Proceed to Fes for an overnight stay with dinner.

After breakfast, take a guided tour of Fes medina, one of the largest walled cities in the world, dating back to the 9th century. Explore its alleys, visit the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter “Mellah,” and artisan quarters such as the brass and copper souks. Visit the famous Fes tannery and enjoy panoramic views of the tanneries in action. Discover the religious and historical heart of Fes with visits to the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, the 9th-century Al Karaouine University, and a Koranic school. Overnight in the riad with breakfast.

Depart Fes towards Erfoud, passing through the scenic cedar forests of Ifrane and Azrou. Enjoy lunch in Midelt and continue through the dramatic Ziz Valley, known for its palm trees and oases. Arrive in Erfoud, famous for its date festival and fossils, before reaching Merzouga Sahara Desert for dinner and an overnight stay in a Kasbah hotel.

Begin your Saharan adventure with a visit to a nomad village. Enjoy lunch at a Kasbah hotel by the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, then relax by the pool. Ride a camel or walk over the sands to witness the Erg Chebbi dunes turning a stunning red hue at sunset. Enjoy a Moroccan feast and Berber drum music before spending the night in a luxury tent with private bathroom and hot shower, camping under the stars.

Start your day with a picturesque sunrise, then head towards the Todra Gorges, traveling along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Explore the stunning Todra Gorges, known for its pink and grey rock walls. Continue through the Dades Valley and spend the night in a Kasbah hotel.

Visit the Valley of Roses and Kelaa M’Gouna, known for Moroccan roses and rose products. Travel via the Road of One Thousand Kasbahs, passing the Skoura palm oasis to Ouarzazate. After lunch, visit the UNESCO-protected Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Drive through the Atlas Mountains, crossing the highest road pass of Tizi Tichka, and arrive in Marrakech by sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at riad.

After breakfast, explore Marrakech with a knowledgeable guide. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. Discover the Saadian tombs, dating back to the time of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur. After lunch, visit Jemaa el Fna Square, known for its vibrant food stalls, snake charmers, musicians, and fortune-tellers. Stroll through the souks to view a variety of handicrafts. Enjoy the night with breakfast at the riad.

Transfer from Marrakech to Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca for your return flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Morocco Arabian and Berber culture.
