2 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes

Our overnight 2 days tour from Marrakech to Fes starts from your accommodation in Marrakech. We will make several stops along the way to enjoy incredible views of the High Atlas, North Africa’s most impressive arid range.

On the way to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gate of the Sahara,” we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture.

Continuing our journey, we head to Merzouga via Skoura, a historic oasis lined with immense palm groves in the Drâa-Tafilalet region. We will also enjoy the impressive Dades River and its splendid gorges.

Our journey continues to Rissani, home to the region’s largest souk. From Rissani, we proceed to the Merzouga desert, where camels await to take us to the edge of the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Capture the breathtaking sunset and try sandboarding before enjoying a delicious dinner and a party around the campfire with Berber drums. Overnight in a traditional Berber-style tent in the Sahara desert.

Rise early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After a typical breakfast at the camp, we will ride the camels back to our departure point and switch to our vehicle to continue the journey to Fes.

Our route takes us through Erfoud, known for its fossils and marble stone sculptures, and past the Ziz Valley and its lush palm groves. We will pass through Errachidia and Midelt, stopping at the cedar forest in Azrou to meet the famous wild monkeys.

Continuing our overnight 2 days tour from Marrakech to Fes, we will arrive in Fes in the afternoon, dropping you off at your hotel or riad. This marks the end of our unforgettable desert adventure.
