Itinerary

Start your 8 days tour from Fes to the Imperial Cities and Merzouga with a departure from Fes at 8:30 am, heading towards Meknes. Visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers a glimpse into Morocco’s rich history. Continue to Meknes, known for its impressive walls and gates, particularly the grand Bab Mansour. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Rabat, where you will explore its historic landmarks and spend the night in your accommodation.

Begin your day with a visit to Rabat’s Oudaya Kasbah, a beautiful fortress with stunning gardens. Travel to Casablanca to see the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, renowned for its stunning architecture. Continue your journey to Marrakech, where you will settle into your accommodation for the night.

Discover the vibrant city of Marrakech with a guided tour. Visit the famous Djemaa El Fna square, where you can sample dried fruits and fresh orange juice. Explore the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, El Bahia Palace, the Quranic school Ben Youssef Medersa, and the Saadian Tombs. After a full day of sightseeing, return to your accommodation for another night in Marrakech.

Depart from Marrakech at 8:30 am and head towards Ouarzazate, passing through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Visit the Telouet Kasbah and enjoy lunch at the foot of the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore this iconic location, known for its role in many famous films, before continuing to Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate. Drive towards the Dades Gorges, stopping to explore the Skoura oasis and the town of M’gouna, famous for its rose products. Enjoy lunch and take a short walk to see the caves along the way. Continue to the Dades Gorges, where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Start your day with breakfast before driving to the Todra Gorges, where you can enjoy the stunning natural beauty and take a walk along the river. Continue through the town of Tinjdad, stopping for lunch before reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing mint tea and embark on a camel trek to watch the sunset over the dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp, enjoying a traditional dinner and Berber music around the campfire.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast and a camel ride back to the hotel for a shower. Travel to Midelt, passing through Erfoud, known for its fossil products, and the picturesque Ziz Valley, with its stunning palm groves. Arrive in Midelt, located at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain, for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart from Midelt and travel through the Tizi n’Talghmt pass, making your way to Azrou. Stop to see the Barbary apes in the cedar forests before continuing to Ifrane, a charming town known as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture.
