Embark on a day trip from Marrakech to Imlil and discover the stunning beauty of the High Atlas Mountains. The journey begins early in the morning with a drive through Tahnaout, Ghighaya Valley, Moulay Brahim Gorges, and Asni, offering scenic views along the way.
Upon reaching Imlil village, start a walk through traditional Berber villages, passing by orchards of walnut, apple, and cherry trees, as well as lush vegetable gardens. The walk gives a unique insight into the local Berber lifestyle.
The hike continues up to Armed Village, located 1,900 meters above sea level, where you’ll pass a picturesque waterfall. Stop for lunch with panoramic views of Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak at 4,167 meters.
After lunch, descend along the western route, overlooking the Ait Mizan Valley with its ancient terraced farmlands. Continue through Achayn and Imlil villages before returning to the village center and heading back to Marrakech.
