Itinerary

Your adventure begins in Tangier, where you’ll meet your guide and head towards Chefchaouen through the scenic Rif Mountains. Enjoy the lush greenery and rugged landscapes as you drive through the charming town of Tetouan, known for its rich history and beautiful architecture. Arrive in Chefchaouen, the “Blue City,” famed for its vibrant blue-painted buildings and narrow alleyways. Spend the afternoon exploring the medina, discovering local arts and crafts, and relaxing at a rooftop café. Overnight in a traditional riad or hotel, soaking in the tranquil ambiance of Chefchaouen.

You’ll have time to walk around, take in the history, and admire the site. Next, we’ll visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Here, you’ll see the stunning Bab el-Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, both rich in history and culture. Wander through the labyrinthine alleys of the medina, visiting key landmarks such as the Royal Palace gates and the old Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Explore the Al Karaouine University, the oldest continuously operating university in the world, and the bustling Tanneries where traditional leather-making methods are demonstrated. Discover the Attarine Museum, housed in a former madrasa, and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. Today’s journey is packed with exciting stops and stunning scenery. Start early from Fes and head toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. Your first stop is Ifrane, a charming town nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture. Next, visit Azrou, known for its lush cedar forests and playful Barbary apes. Enjoy a scenic drive through the forested landscapes and Berber villages. After lunch in Midelt, known for its fossils and apples, proceed to Merzouga. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into a hotel near the dunes, preparing for your desert adventure.

Get ready for an unforgettable day in the Sahara. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll begin by exploring the Merzouga region. First, visit the village of Khamlia,where you’ll experience the vibrant music and rich cultural traditions of the Gnawa people .Then, drive through the vast desert to meet local nomads who continue to live in traditional Berber tents. For lunch, savor a delicious local Berber pizza before embarking on a camel trek through the dunes. Arrive at a desert camp, where you’ll experience the stunning sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend the night at the camp, enjoying a traditional Berber dinner and entertainment around a campfire under the stars.

Start your day with a magical sunrise over the dunes, a truly unforgettable experience. Afterward, take a camel trek back to the village, where a hearty breakfast and a refreshing shower awaits. Frome there Drive towards Rissani, then continue through Tinghir to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, famous for their towering, narrow canyons.
